Testimonials
"My students had high levels of engagement with the course material and instructor. They were impressed by the depth of knowledge, professionalism, and approachability of the coach, who created an environment of collaboration and growth. The interactive workshops and hands-on training sessions were especially valuable, enabling participants to apply their learning in real-world scenarios."
"I am pleased to recommend the CPD for coaches, conducted by Grow To Coach, which provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in football coaching. **Professional Approach**: The classes were prepared at the highest level, both in theory and practice. **Practical Classes**: Demonstration exercises and practical sessions allowed for the immediate implementation of the acquired knowledge. **Modern Training Methods**: Training in the latest trends and techniques used in soccer. **Complexity**: The classes covered both the technical and psychological aspects of training. “I would like to sincerely thank you for today’s, inspiring conference. Thanks to PROFESSIONALS like you, I am even more convinced that humanity and the human factor are the most important aspects of SPORT. Without unnecessary pressure or stress placed on the youngest players, we should let them simply enjoy SPORT — which, first and foremost, should educate, offer support, provide a break from everyday life and worries, and give a sense of safety. The very fact that a young person is guided through life with sport, and that the importance of sport for health and discipline is promoted, helps shape adults who will continue to promote a healthy, active lifestyle. THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT: it should be about having fun, not the pressure of building a career. The key is not to take childhood away from children. I truly appreciate this meeting, as it reaffirmed my belief that theory and practice are important — but they are not the most important. That’s something worth remembering. It was a great opportunity to gain new knowledge, exchange experiences, and reflect on the role of sport and coaching. The professionalism, passion, and openness you shared made a strong impression on me. I’m truly grateful for the insights, practical advice, and positive energy that I will carry forward in my own work. Thank you once again for your time, commitment, and for creating such a motivating and supportive atmosphere.”
“I would like to thank you very much for today's extremely valuable lecture on the individual potential of players during training in youth football. I really liked the form of the lecture and the presentation – active, expressive, full of energy and commitment. Such an attitude really encouraged to listen, and the subsequent demonstration training was a great complement – dynamic, well thought out, conducted at high intensity. I am a coach at the beginning of my path and meetings with people like you – full of passion, knowledge and willingness to share experience – motivate me to continue working and developing.”
One thing that has had the biggest impact on you?
“Practical classes, I was sceptical after the theoretical part, I thought you wanted to focus too much on autonomy and we forget about the rest. In fact, you have shown how to combine training 6 main competencies and leave room for the players to make decisions”
One thing that made you more curious?
“Personalizing individual tasks in the same exercise, option for the team to choose a task in the end game”
What did you take away from today's session?
“The coach's energy during training and the ability to choose players encourages them to work intensively (observation that you don't have to shout ;)”
”It was a pleasure to watch how you conducted the training today, what messages appeared and how you conducted it with energy”
“Thank you for today's workshop! I was very pleased with the form that you required the participants to be active in this training together with the coach educators. For the fact that you so actively passed on your knowledge and did not passively read the prepared presentation. It was clear that you like what you do (in my opinion) I would like to learn more from people like you!! To be able to help kids do what they like to play football with a smile on their faces PS. After the training, you still had time and willingness to tell me personally what to do with one boy!! Thank you again!!”
What is one thing from today that has made you more curious about today’s topic?
“The topic of the 6 key individual competences is very interesting. From this point of view, I observed the practical classes and was impressed by how they were reinforced during the sessions, all 6. And what made it interesting was probably the way Matt and you conducted the classes - you could feel from the sidelines that you wanted to teach these children something, the messages to the children were short and understandable. A lot of modifications of the exercises kept them focused, there was no boredom. It was not a training for coaches only for children. Frequent praise and gentle hints motivated the players to make even greater efforts. I hope that one day my trainings will be at least partially so engaging and enjoyable for children. Thank you very much for the lecture and advice given between classes and at lunch. I think they will be a good signpost at the beginning of my adventure with training children”.
“At the outset, I would like to point out that the content of the entire event was at a high level. We often go to various types of conferences, where we get beautiful, idealized outlines or training plans that are not entirely supported by practice. In your case, it was completely different. What we noticed on the projector in the conference room also had an impact on the training pitch, and it is not easy – especially when leading a group that we see for the first time.”
What's one thing that had the biggest impact on you during today's workshop? “Understanding the importance of individualizing the training process. Each player has a different personality, different needs and a different pace of development – the role of the coach is to notice this and react accordingly.” What did you learn from today's session that affects your coaching? “I will strive to create an environment that supports development – one that allows players to learn by doing, make mistakes, analyse them and develop not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally. I want to ask more questions instead of giving ready-made answers, so that young players come up with solutions on their own.”

“What influenced me most was the focus on creating a true learning environment during training, not just presenting exercises. I realized that a player learns best when they feel safe and confident, and that is something I will work on further. The biggest challenge for me was understanding the importance of "play" in training sessions, and that play is not just entertainment but a powerful learning tool. I used to focus more on discipline than fun, but now I see that combining the two is key. I will take with me the concept that every drill must serve a clear tactical or mental objective. I will not train for the sake of training, but rather for the development of the player within a clear plan”
“I enjoyed this course, which made me wish to continue in this field. The most important aspect of this course was the focus on the players' environment and the importance of creating a competitive atmosphere within the game, without excluding or neglecting any player, regardless of their level or circumstances. I hope I have learned from you that I will start in a sound and correct manner and become a successful football coach”
